The main festival ends at 5pm, but stick around, because Purgatory Hill and April Mae & The June Bugs will be performing three full sets each at the First Cap and Bistro 19 pubs starting at 10pm. The entire town will be alive with cigar box guitar goodness!!!
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE… THE PA CIGAR BOX GUITAR FEST IS HELD THE SAME WEEKEND AS “YORKFEST,” A MASSIVE FINE ARTS FAIR IN DOWNTOWN YORK, PA. This means you will get two free events while you’re here. Bring the kids. Pack the van. This is a great mini-vacation for any music and arts lover. Heck, get to York PA by Thursday and see how they make Softtail “hogs” as you tour the Harley Davidson factory on Friday morning as well. Yep, that tour is free too.
