I’m using this to play on my diddley bow, which has regular threat markers. Apparently diatnoic just means it skips the half-tones (flats and sharps) so in other words, a full C could be 1, a full D would be 2, a full E would be 3, and so on? that is if the string was tuned to B.

We usually use a .012″ plain steel string tuned to a high C or D note. But unless you are playing with someone else, the exact tuning doesn’t really matter too much.
What is the string tuned too?
